Description
Chemical Name (Generic Name): Liquid complete, balanced nutrition diet cappuccino flavor; medical food.
Ingredients: Water 70.2%, Milk Protein 5.7%, Sucrose 5.6%, Calcium Casein 5.0%, Maltodextrin 4.1%, Fish oil 2.7%, Medium chain Triglyceride (MCT) 1.5%, Inulin 1.3%, Rapeseed oil 1.3%, Sunflower oil 0.7%, Vitamins and Minerals 0.4%, and Wheat Dextrin 0.3%.
Strength: 300 kcal of Energy, 20 g Protein in 200 ml.
Effectiveness compared with Existing Product: Complete nutrition formula with high fiber of 4,000 mg containing 1.5 kcal/ml, high protein of 20 g with fish oil in a bottle of 200 ml and rich with vitamin and mineral with free of lactose and gluten. Oral nutritional supplement for the dietary management of patients with/or at risk of malnutrition, cancer patient and/or cachexia. Supportan DRINK has is very tasty (cappuccino flavor), ready to drink, and packaged in a protective atmosphere and sterilized.

Indications/Uses
For the dietary management of patients with/or at risk of malnutrition, Cancer patient and/or Cachexia.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Must be determined by the health care professional according to patients' needs. Recommendation for supplementary nutrition: 1-2 bottles (300-600 kcal)/day.
Recommendation for complete nutrition: 4-5 bottles (1,200-1,500 kcal)/day.
Maximum Dosage Single: 1 bottle/meal or to be determined by a health care professional according to patient's needs.
Maximum Dosage per day: 4-5 bottles/day or to be determined by a health care professional according to patient's needs.
Dosage for Hepatic Dysfunction: To be determined by a health care professional according to patient's needs.
Dosage for Renal Dysfunction: To be determined by a health care professional according to patient's needs.
Route of Administration: Oral or Tube Feed.
Contraindications
Not suitable whenever enteral nutrition is not permitted such as in acute gastrointestinal bleeding, ileus and shock.
Use with caution in severe organ failure with impaired metabolism and severe forms of malassimilation.
Not recommend for children < 1 years.
Not suitable as sole source of nutrition for children < 5 years.
Do not use for patients with galactosaemia.
